This is the maiden entry for my blog, which will mainly cover issues related to my job as editor of The Evening News, a newspaper in Jeffersonville, Ind.
Check out Thursday’s editions for a lot of crazy news, including an apparent diamond heist in front of the Sheraton hotel and a turn of events regarding the Clark-Floyd Counties Convention and Tourism Bureau’s recent relationship with the city of Jeffersonville.
On a personal, inside-the-newsroom note, it also was a day of a caller/reader accusing the paper of editing a story online following pressure by a “mystery e-mailer,” even though the story, in it’s original version remains on our Web site at newsandtribune.com
